Dental Care Quiz

Dental disease is one of the most common diseases we see on a daily basis. Once dental tartar accumulates on the teeth, it is near impossible to remove at home by regular brushing, raw hides, or dental diets. The only way to remove the dental tartar is by performing a dental prophylaxis.

A dental prophylaxis is a surgical procedure where dental tartar is removed from the teeth with a specialized instrument (an ultrasonic scaler). During the procedure we can clean above and below the gum line to help prevent periodontal disease. Unfortunately, dental disease will often times come back even after a thorough dental prophylaxis.

Please take this short quiz below to test your knowledge about dental disease in small animals. After completing the quiz, a $25.00 coupon will appear for your pet's next dental prophylaxis. The coupon is good until the end of August. Thank you and have fun!
