Izzy

My name is Izzy. I am a 6 month old female Maine Coon kitten. Right now I am only 6 pounds, but Maine Coons can grow to be quite large. I already have big feet and a long bushy tail that hopefully I will grow into.

I enjoy playing with my feather teaser toy and playing fetch with my mom and dad. They throw a foam rubber ball and then I take it back to them in my mouth. I will do this over and over until they get tired of playing. I have a good friend named Coco who is also a Maine Coon. Sometimes we have sleepovers when our parents are traveling.

In the morning, my parents say I am “wild.” I run through the house as fast as I can and make chirping noises which Maine Coons are known to do. When I get tired of running, I lay on my dad’s lap while he reads the newspaper. A lot of Maine Coons do not like to sit on laps but I love it. I also like to have manicures and pedicures (my claws trimmed). It is so relaxing sometimes that I fall asleep.
