Moseley

Hudson Road Animal Hospital congratulates Moseley, our very own celebrity patient! While we call him Moseley, his official name is VOCH CH Sonsies Laird Moseley CD TDX CGG U-CD. For those of you not versed in the world of dog championships, we have broken down the titles as follows:

• VOCH = Versatile Otterhound Champ awarded by the Otterhound Club of America
• CH = Championship awarded by AKC
• CD = Companion Dog awarded by AKC
• TDX = Tracking Dog Excellent awarded by AKC
• CGC = Canine Good Citizen awarded by AKC
• U-CD = Companion Dog awarded by the United Kennel Club

Beyond these titles, Moseley has received some impressive awards and made a record with the Otterhound Club of America. At the young age of eleven months, he was the youngest dog to ever be admitted into the Otterhound Club of America (OHCA). He went on to receive the OHCA “Olivia Award” in 2006 for being the dog that best exemplifies the overall working ability of the Otterhound. He also took the OHCA 2006 “Martha Thompson” award for being the highest scoring obedience dog of the year.

All these titles have not gone to his head — he happily shares his home and owners’ affection with Zoey, Blue and Ian, his canine companions.
