Abby Bower - CVT
Abby began working with Hudson Road Animal Hospital in 2003 as a Technician. Working with animals was a natural for Abby. She grew up with many pets — dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, hamsters and guinea pigs. She attended three years at Hamline University and then decided to follow her heart to Medical Institute of Minnesota (now Argosy University) and received her Veterinary Technician degree.
Abby had three sons at home — Brady, Max and Riley who is her youngest. Brady plays football, baseball, hockey and practices Kung Fu. Max enjoys playing soccer and hockey. He is the energetic one of the family! Riley was born July 2009 and is a very happy baby boy!
Abby also has many pets. Pacer, her Pit Bull and four cats named Neumann, Stella and Belle. She doesn't miss a day of work without Pacer by her side!
In her free time, Abby enjoys photography, scrapbooking, working out and dancing.
Abby’s favorite things about working at Hudson Road Animal Hospital are her coworkers and the relationships she has with our clients and their pets.
Cathy Smith - CVT
Before joining the Hudson Road team, Cathy was a photographer for six years. We are fortunate to be able to utilize her photography skill within the clinic during our Halloween costume contest and Santa Paws events!
In addition to her Photographic Imaging degree, Cathy continued her education in Veterinary Technology and we are so lucky to have her on our team. Currently, Cathy is also working towards her BS in Veterinary Technology to gain more education in the animal care field. She is always looking for more ways to develop her skills with pets!
Cathy shares her home with an American Eskimo named Angel, a Jack Russell Mix named Bear and 3 cats, Daisy, Nicholas and Stevie Wonder.
When she is not busy at work and school, Cathy enjoys using her photography skills to capture the great outdoors and taking pictures of animals. She likes to travel, go camping, canoeing and hiking in her spare time. One of her other favorite things is just spending time with family, friends and her furry friends!
Cathy’s favorite thing about working at Hudson Road Animal Hospital is all the animals. She loves seeing client's pets that come in and making a difference in the lives of rescue animals we work with.
Casi Cadwell - CVT
Casi began working at Hudson Road Animal Hospital in March 2008 after completing a three-month internship at our practice. Casi's interests include music, horses, snowboarding, and anything realted to the outdoors. In addition to her dogs, Casi has owned several little critters over years including, rats, mice, rabbits and fish! After completing her AAS Degree in Veterinary Technology at Globe University, Barbara joined the Hudson Road team in July 2010. While Barbara is a professional cake decorator by trade (yum!), she decided that caring for animals was a good fit for her and we are excited to have her on our team (as well as help her “taste test” her creations!).
Barbara spends her time with her 2 dogs, Dharma, a shepherd/chow mix and Simbah, her golden mix. When she is not at the clinic or decorating cakes, Barbara also enjoys scrapbooking, Steven King novels and watching scary movies.
Since her first day, Barbara’s favorite things about HRAH include; the state of the art equipment, the welcoming team members and the number of options and services available for the animals.
