Leah Smith - Professional Pet Groomer

Leah joined the Hudson Road team in 2007, but she has been grooming dogs for almost 12 years now! She lives in St. Paul with a small zoo of animals including, 2 American Staffordshire Terriers,  Rheta and Sammy.  Rheta is the oldest and is a retired show dog.  She also has 6 rats, a snake, a bearded dragon, and some fish to give her zoo a little diversity!

Leah's 2-legged children include: Naomi, Kyle and Damon, her youngest son.  In her freetime, Leah enjoys spending time with the whole family.

Leah's favorite thing about Hudson Road Animal Hospital is how nice everyone is and how gentle they are with animals.

Carley Russell - Professional Pet Groomer

Carley joined the HRAH team in 2008. Carley's interest in grooming began at the age of 16. She was working at a kennel facility where she started to learn how to groom animals. She quickly fell in love with the art of grooming and has been doing it ever since.

Carley attended Lake Superior College in Duluth where she became Animal Care Certified. She currently lives in St. Paul with her furry family of 3 dogs and 3 cats.  She has Diesel a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Libby the Black Lab.  Her newest addition is Sugar, her Chihuahua.  Her three cats are named Sadie, Domino, and Tiger. Carley also has experience fostering pets as well.

When she is not working, Carley enjoys the outdoors. She loves taking her dogs swimming and on walks. Carley's favorite thing about Hudson Road Animal Hospital is how the staff is one big family. She said, "I really can feel the love flow through this place."
