Kellie Rosenberg

Kellie

Kellie came to Hudson Road with an avian interest, which she hopes to turn into a career.

Kellie attended St. Paul College after high school where she took various American Sign Language and deaf culture classes to become certified in deaf studies.  Kellie is currently completing her Veterinary Technology Degree through Argosy University and will graduate Spring of 2010.

Kellie has two four-legged children, a Lhasa Apso named Daphnie and Velma, aka “snaggle-tooth” who she adopted through Second Chance Animal Rescue.

One of Kellie’s favorite things about working with Hudson Road is the experience she has received by her co-workers and clients.  She also enjoys spending time with Loki, a Green Winged Macaw who stays with us often. Kellie calls Loki "the best little winged friend a girl could ask for".

Kellie has loved every minute of working with the animals at Hudson Road and is looking forward to continuing her education to give more to the animals in her care!

Patty Burke - CVT

Patty Burke

Coming from the corporate business world, Patty decided she wanted to make a difference in the world by helping animals. She began by working in kennels and as a tech assistant in Forest Lake. She has an AA Degree in Liberal Arts through Century College, Mn and obtained an Associate Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg, FL.  As a Certified Veterinary Technician, she has worked in veterinary clinics, emergency clinics (ICU - U of MN), animal shelters and animal research (cardiovascular and circulatory studies).

Patty is also trained and certified as a volunteer speaker for Basic Animal Rescue Training (BART), a Minnesota organization which trains emergency personnel (fire departments, EMTs, first response rescue workers) in the techniques of restraint, assessment, first aid, and CPR for animals.

Patty has been at Hudson Road since 1998.   Patty has a special interest in pet food and nutrition as it relates to specific disease conditions. She assists in therapeutic diet education, training staff and pet owners, and managing inventory to make sure pet food is available to our clients.

Living in Scandia with her husband and 6 pets on 6 acres on a small lake, time is made to walk Eddy (Westie), Cinny (Golden) and Miss Tilly (American Eskimo), as well as give attention to Butchy, Murphy Mae and Hen're, the resident felines. In addition, she has a passion for stained glass, creating and designing images to reflect light through the beauty of glass in her studio at home.

Patty is dedicated to Hudson Road Animal Hospital where the owners and the staff make helping animals and their families their main purpose. Recently focused on client services, helping owners to get their pets' needs met and to understand what treatments and procedures are being recommended for their pets has been very rewarding. There is just nothing better than making life good for the animals.
