Boarding Policy

• All dogs must have current immunizations against Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, Corona, and Bordetella.
• All cats must have current immunizations against Feline Leukemia, Rabies, Distemper, Rhinotracheitis, and Calici Virus.
• All animals must have had a fecal examination for internal parasites within the last 6 months.
• All dogs must have had a heartworm blood test within the past 12 months and presently be on heartworm prevention.
• All animals must be free of external parasites (fleas and ticks) when admitted for boarding; or must be treated upon admission.
• All animals will be examined, temperature checked, and weighed on admission by a certified technician.
• Animals will be admitted and discharged ONLY during regular office hours. Sunday boarding release at 4:30. There are no boarding releases on holidays.
• Any animal that requires veterinary attention will receive it at our discretion, and at the owner\'s expense.
• An emergency telephone number should be left with the clinic.
• Animals requiring significant medication (such as wound treatment) will be charged appropriate fees. There is no charge for administration of heartworm preventative, vitamins, hormones, or seizure medications.
• Please inform us if you are not happy with the way your pet is cared for. Your satisfaction and you pet\'s well-being are our primary concern.
• Be aware that your pet\'s diet may have varied while away from home. They may have barked at other animals; or the temperature and humidity may have been slightly different from your home. This can create problems such as sore throats, tonsillitis, or diarrhea. We seek to prevent such problems, but you must understand that these problems do develop. Owners will be charged appropriate fees for all treatment and medication needed for reasons that are not directly under our control.
• We furnish all normal food and bedding. All we need is your pet!
• Also, if you are boarding multiple pets, you will get a 10% discount.
  
• Boarding Rates: Please call us at 651-739-0117 for any inquiries pertaining to our current boarding rates. The fees are charged by the night and differ from one species to another.
