Darcy N., Certified Veterinary Technician

Darcy N

Darcy joined the HRAH team in 2011 and has become a leader in her position. Darcy received her AAS degree in Veterinary Technology in 2007 from Globe University, obtaining her CVT certification shortly thereafter.

Ever since she was a child, Darcy has had an interest in animals and science. Darcy has developed and manages our inventory program, keeping track of supplies coming and going from the practice. Her organizational skills make her a perfect fit for this important role.

When away from Hudson Road, Darcy spends her time with her husband and son, Nic. Darcy likes to spend time with her dog Sue (aka, Naughty Pants), share new adventures with her son and workout at the gym.

Her favorite things about working with our team? The animals, of course! But her co-workers and educating clients bring up a very close second.

Kacy R., Certified Veterinary Technician

Kacy R

In addition to caring for her pets, Kacy especially enjoys horror/suspense movies, cooking, baking and hosting dinner parties. She also spends time crocheting and taking care of her yard. She likes to keep busy!

Since joining Hudson Road Animal Hospital, Kacy has enjoyed working with her co-workers and being a part of private practice. She enjoys the interaction and having daytime hours!

Kacy is fun, outgoing and keeps our patients calm, comfortable and healthy.

Ada R., Certified Veterinary Technician

Ada R

Ada joined our team in February 2016, however, she was part of HRAH even before then. Originally from Poland, Ada was new to America and wanted to learn about the veterinary community prior to working in the industry. Ada spent four months shadowing our practice until she decided Hudson Road was the place for her! We were very impressed with her skills and invited her to work with our team.

Ada completed her veterinary technician diploma through the Royal Veterinary College in London, UK in 2012. Ada also holds a degree in marine biology from the University of Gdansk in Poland.

Whenever she can, Ada enjoys traveling and looks forward to seeing more of America. She also enjoys visiting art museums and learning about American culture. She doesn't currently share her time with any pets, however, she does envision some in her future.
Ada enjoys her work at HRAH, spending time with clients, gaining knowledge and practicing her skills as a veterinary technician. She has future goals to specialize in anesthesia and analgesia.

April S., Certified Veterinary Technician

April S

April started working with our team in 2017 and brought an extensive amount of knowledge to our hospital. Her professionalism and kind demeanor instantly fit into our team culture. April quickly has found her way around Hudson Road, getting to know clients and pets and working closely with our medical team.

When not working, April shares her time with her husband and two dogs, Mabel, a Boston Terrier and Tank, a French Bulldog. Bella and Jack are her two cats, both domestic shorthairs. April also takes time to enjoy the great outdoors through camping and trying new restaurants throughout the Twin Cities.

April already enjoys being part of our dedicated team and clearly loves being a technician. She hopes to be a CVT for many more years to come!

With an interest in pet dentistry, Heather feels that dental hygiene is very important towards preventative care and treatment we provide for the well-being of the HRAH pets. As well as educating pet parents about the health of their pets, Heather likes to keep up on continuing education in order to further her veterinary knowledge and skills.

Heather has two cats at home: Cleo, a calico; and JJ, an orange tabby. Outside of work she enjoys: painting, gardening, playing Bingo, shooting at the range, shopping, and watching movies.

The joy of working at this hospital is lots of laughter which is a good sign of positivity in our work place. We all can laugh and enjoy our workday more. The staff here are very professional and caring and they try to provide the utmost quality care to all the pets and their parents that walk through the door.

When she is not working, Brittany enjoys playing hockey, going mountain biking, fishing, hiking, camping and trying new foods. Her pets include a Ragdoll cat named Sophie and Bella, her Hound mix.

Compassionate care is the most important service HRAH offers according to Brittany and she truly enjoys our clients, the pets she works with and her co-workers.

Kelly G., Veterinary Assistant

Kelly G

Hudson Road was fortunate to bring Kelly onto our team in 2015 as a Kennel Attendant. Since that time, she has developed her role in the hospital, evolving her position as our first Veterinary Assistant. Currently studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician through Dakota County Technical College, this was an obvious fit for Kelly to grow her medical skills.

Kelly shares her time with her three pets; a 7-year-old Black Lab/German Shepherd Mix named Jamie, a 6 1/2 year old German Shepherd named Makita and her 8-year-old Tabby Cat, Willow. Hiking and walking with her pups is one of her favorite hobbies when away from HRAH. She also enjoys road tripping to new places and fixing up her home.

When we asked Kelly what she considers the most important service Hudson Road provides to our clients, she stated, "Customer service. Without good customer service our clients cannot receive good quality medical service. Building relationships with clients and their pets allow us as a whole team to provide the best care we can."

Kelly also admits she is that "Crazy Dog Lady". Clients may even see her wearing this on one of her many funny dog t-shirts!
